My son was ill quite a bit, hated his course and didn't make any really good friends, and my daughter found most of the people at her uni (Oxford) total snobs who she couldn't relate to at all. They put a good face on it - and I think other people wouldn't realise tbh. Talking to my friends (whose children are at uni) it's much more common than you think to struggle to live up to this impossibly idealised view of how your life should be at university. I can promise you it's not just you who feels like this!Dawnnoreply@blogger.com
